vandy mène donc 1-0 après son succès 9-8!!! Tout s'est décidé en 3rd où les Dores ont marqué 9 runs, malgré un rallye des Cavaliers qui échouent d'un rien au finale...... A noter que cette partie est celle où il y a eu le plus de runs combinés en CWS dans le TD Ameritrade Park (Omaha)!!!

une victoire 7-2 des Cavaliers qui leur permettent de forcer un Game 3!! Quoiqu'il arrive demain une nouvelle équipe remportera son 1er titre universitaire en baseball!!

Les Commodores remportent ainsi leur 1er titre NCAA Baseball!! Alors que le score était de parité à 2-2, la délivrance pour Vandy est venu de John Norwood qui a frappé en 8th un solo HR en LF!!



Notons que le 2014 CWS Most Outstanding Player revient au 2B Dansby Swanson (10 hits, 3 doubles, 5 runs et 4 SB)!!!
