le N°5 Florida State s'est facilement débarraser de Niagara 13 à 2!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKO7N9gZts8 Sans surprise les 2 joueurs sélectionnés dans la 60-man Preseason Golden Spikes Watch List ont été énormes, tout d'abord Luke Weaver au pitching qui joue 6 manches en prenant 0 Hits, 0 runs, BB et réalisant 7 K's!! Quant à D.J. Stewart match quasi parfait à la batte : 2 runs, 4 Hits et RBI!!! En fin de match on a même vu l'attendu Jameis Winston qui s'en sort avec un walk, run et une magnifique réception en LF!! Les Noles une équipe à surveiller de près cette saison!!

Mauvaise soirée pour le N°1 Cal State Fullerton et le lanceur Justin Garza qui prend l'eau (5.2 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 4 ER) au Goodwin Field, les Titans s'inclinant 7-9 en 11th!!! Grâce à ce succès les Cougars de Washington State reviennent à égalité dans la série, la gagne se jouant ce soir!!!
